Dr Janes repaired ligaments and tendons in my left shoulder and was happy with the result. I am now going to see him again for the right shoulder and after a couple of months after he operated on my left shoulder I had 5 visits for physio under a care plan from my GP she gave me an apparatus to use at home and after the five visits I had two twice in a week towards the end because she done job.When I went to see Greg for the last visit he was happy with the results but I asked him if I could have a cortisone injection which he kindly did I had to pay for it with no Medicare rebate but I didn’t worry about the cost as it helped ease the little niggle I had a few days before seeing him I probably over done something
Had my gluteal tear repair by Dr Janes in March..I still have 3 months out of 12 for recovery but it's so great to be able to walk without pain in my right leg. Now I need a total Knee Replacement 🤣🤣🤣 booked in for Septemeber Yes Dr Janes is doing that for him. He is a brilliant surgeon and had a great bedside manner and also a sense of humour Big shout out to Suzie his brilliant personal assistant who kept me in the loop and nothing was a problem for her
I have had two surgeries by Dr Janes 10+ years ago on each knee and I am about to have knee recon next month and I would not let anyone else operate on my knee. Dr Janes is the best ortho surgeon in Perth in my opinion and would totally recommend Dr Janes if you are looking for an expert surgeon for your knee. Great bedside manner and he treats you like a human not a number. 👍💪
I had a total knee replacement by GregJanes in September 2022. It left me with a stiff and painful knee- maximum bend of about 95 degrees. Greg Janes then did a Arthroscopic Synovectomy in December 2023, with the result very little improvement- the pain when walking is now worse, maximum bend is 110 degrees. I found Greg Janes rude, impatient and showed zero empathy for my situation where it appears I I will have to put up with this stiff and painful knee for the rest of my life . ( Just one example: when I went back to see Greg Janes after the TKR with my concerns, he said “ now this you’ve had a whinge, we’ll do another X-Ray “)

Had my shoulder reconstructed by greg janes. Initial impressions were good and he came recommended to me. Follow up appointment was 2 hours late, no apology, rude and dismissive of questions. Stood at the door as if to say get out. Said no physio until 6 weeks (later was informed by an AFL team physio this is not right, especially with myself who has a history of shoulder issues). Came out of sling overly stiff due to lack of physio. Continued to have pain up to the 5 month appointment, again he was dismissive of my concerns. Saw another surgeon at 7 months post surgery who recommended an MRI. Found his surgical repair had failed and that the tear he ignored had gotten worse (said he didnt repair it because it wasnt necessary). I am now faced with a more serious surgery and time off work due to his operation. I am afraid to go back to him and am suffering because of this.

I had a full knee replacement and Dr Greg Janes was in charge. Walked out of the hospital 3 days later with no crutches. Fantastic pain management, zero pain throughout the whole process apart from some during rehabilitation which was to be expected
