Recently I had the Coolief procedure on my hip to reduce the pain while I wait for replacement surgery . It has made such an improvement , I am able to go back to strengthening exercises , walking properly and sleeping better. And I also noticed I am not needing pain medication very often or even at all some days . I am very grateful this procedure was offered by Dr Taherri. He and the staff have been very good to deal with .A Big thank you to them .
Dr Taheri is the most excellent surgeon in my case. He has done my right knee 3 years ago and now he’s done my left knee. I’m the most happiest person ever because I was in so much pain before I had each one done. Dr Taheri really looks after his patients very well. If u need to get your knees done do it now sooner than later because I suffered so much waiting to have them done. U knees are in a good surgeons hand, and the receptionist do an amazing job looking after u as well.
I am so grateful for Dr Arash Taheri and his team. After being wrong diagnosed before and many different doctors not sending me to the right tests, Dr Arash finally helped me to get some answers and get closer to my recovery. Kellie in the admin was so lovely, professional and efficient booking me the right places for my tests too. Dr Arash was excellent experience when I was struggling so much and with so many other doctors and clinics not really caring so much. They really cared and look after their patients. After a bad ACL and meniscus injury at the age of sixty, I visited four specialists, some hesitant to operate and pessimistic about the outcome. I was on crunchers for four months until I met the fifth specialist, Dr Arash Tahiri. Dr Arash Tahiri was recommended to me by my niece and a friend who works at the hospital. Dr Tahiri professionally explained the surgery procedure giving me confidence in his ability to do the knee operation despite my age. He was Positive I could get back to sport with a recovery duration of one year.
I would highly recommend Dr Hateri. I had a total hip replacement after some time in pain and the pain disappeared instantly after surgery. The reception staff and Dr Hateri were extremely helpful at all times and any questions I had were happily answered. My recovered from the surgery has gone without any hitches thanks to the excellent information regarding post operative care.
I had a total knee replacement January 16th 2023. Dr A Taheri was very friendly and professional. He done a first class operation. I now have a one hundred percent perfect pain free knee. Highly recommended.
I had a double knee replacement in November 2022. Aresh Taheri was very kind and explained all aspects of the operation and what would happen. His best advice was to treat it as a marathon race and not to give up. I followed all the rules and did all the exercises on a daily basis. I am now 16 weeks post op and apart from a "tight band" feeling in both knees, I am not in any pain at all. I would recommend Aresh Taheri most highly for his treatment and thank you to all the hospital staff for their help.
Dr Taheri I would highly recommend. Amazed, my leg from trauma was 90 degree angle, the outcome is fantastic my leg is straight The surgery was successful and the outcome is no nerve pain at all and a normal knee. Also it has now been 3 months post surgery and I have just realised that my knocked knee that I could never put my ankles together has gone I can put my ankles together. I'm in awe.
Dr Arash Taheri performed a bi lateral hip replacement nearly 3 weeks ago for me. I cannot praise Dr Taheri and his team for the difference he has made to me only 3 weeks in, I’m totally amazed that the whole process has been pain free and has been a totally different experience to what I thought it would be, he was transparent from the beginning and guided me through the process with ease. I followed instructions to the letter and have ongoing Physio which has been far better than I could imagine. The Leukomed Zipline used on my wounds was amazing too, clean and so much better than stitches, all healed well in 2 weeks. If anyone has doubts about this operation go for it the difference it makes to your life is beyond believe and Dr Arash Taheri is the surgeon to do it. Again big thanks to him for giving me a light at the end of the tunnel, so glad I listened to him.
I’ve just finished my second knee surgery with Arash Taheri. Both experiences were great from start to finish and also great recovery and results. Arash was extremely caring and professional, I felt heard and he made me feel at ease about having these types of surgeries so young. I couldn’t recommend him and his team enough. I’ll be forever grateful for all they have done to improve my quality of life!

I'm sure Arash Taheri is a wonderful Orthopedic specialist if you're otherwise fit and healthy, if you carry a little extra weight I would recommend a doctor that can address this topic with a bit more class and understanding, if you decide to still follow through with an appointment with Dr Arash, be ready for him to dismiss any diagnostic evidence. If you have Osteoarthritis I can save you the consultation fee to see Taheri, just take a combination of Fish oil and Tumeric, don't forget to take Panadol 3x a day (even if you have a liver condition that means you can't take said medication).
Had my three monthly check up for my right hip replacement with Dr Taheri “feeling like a million dollars”I’m 60 this year and have always worked hard and been blessed to be fit. I was fly in and fly out cooking, and my hip said no more. I could hardly walk across the tarmac because of the pain and felt so sad because I wanted to keep going. Dr Taheri was the best thing that happened. He studied with all the big guns in America with the robot and bought it back to help people like me out. I went to see MR Taheri with acute arthritis in both knees and was unable to carry out my job on the mines I am 51 and was a very fit person before I suffered for 4 year before surgery. This guy is amazing and transformed my life and gave it back to me thank you Arash .
I have just under 4 weeks ago had total right hip replacement preformed by Mr Arash Taheri, I can't thank him and all the staff enough! And of course mako the robotic arm, brilliant - in contrast, regarding my recovery to three people I know who have also had hip replacement done years ago, I am progressing at a speedy rate, they are all amazed. I must also mention as a public patient there really wasn't that long to wait for my first consult with Mr Arash Taheri. From start to finish the care and information was excellent - I highly recommend : Again Thank you all so much.
I was referred to JOG and Mr Arash Tahir by a friend - and I cannot thank my friend enough. Mr Tahir was awesome for my ACL reconstruction and him telling me he has had his own done before gave me full confidence he knew what I was feeling and going through. All the team were great and so easy to talk to and deal with. Absolute 5 stars!!
Highly Recommended!!! I had a Left Total Knee Replacement with the MAKO 3.5 weeks ago with Mr. Arash Taheri. The pre/post care cannot be faulted. I am walking several Kms/day with no crutch already. Pain managed very well with minimal medications. The education session prior to surgery was fantastic. Very well presented and very informative on post surgery expectations. I couldn't be more pleased with the care I have received throughout. Thank You very much.
1 year ago I had my right hip replaced and received top service from all concerned. Last Monday I had my left hip replaced and am already up and walking around, sometimes with a walking stick but no other aid required. Robotics were used both operations. The only complaint I had was with the noise in hospital ward at Joondalup private hospital. Once staff heard about my sensitivity to the buzzers going off they moved me to a very private, silent room with a magnificent view. All in all a great outcome for me and now I have a new life with no pain. Thanks to hospital staff, Dr Taheri and his staff. Exceptional service.

Mr Tahiti operated on my right knee. I was in terrible pain before the op but after I could run he has manic hands and anyone who has him as their surgeon would be very lucky.

Pre–operative consultation and pre-clinical information: Without doubt, Dr Arash Taheri has to be the nicest doctor I've ever had the pleasure of dealing with, and perhaps one of the nicest people I've ever met. He explained everything you need to know before you have an operation but in simple and easy terms using non- medical jargon. The operation and in-hospital care at Joondalup Hospital: I’m 62 years old and I had a full knee replacement for both knees (3 months apart for each knee replacement), and Dr Taheri was in charge. I walked out of the hospital after 5 days (with crutches), for the first knee and 4 days (with crutches), later for the second knee. Fantastic pain management, throughout the whole process apart from some during my stay in the ward and during rehabilitation which was to be expected. Post-operative advice from all the team was exemplary and the nurses who looked after me during recovery where exemplary. Post-operative consultation and follow-up: One year later, I’ve returned back to work and I’m back to my daily walks as well. I still continue at home with regimented physio exercise. One of the best decisions of my life and now I have a new lease of life. I would refer any person I know to him. Thank you Dr Taheri. You are one of a kind.
Joondalup Orthopaedic Group Ask the community I recently had two knee replacement surgeries performed by Arash Taheri. My first surgery was in June, the second eight weeks later in August. I am recovering well from both surgeries and would happily recommend Mr Taheri to anyone considering this surgery. Mr Taheri appears to be very focused on using up to date methods and follows through with surveys of his patients progress which I can only assume will assist with the continued improvement of surgery and recovery processes. Highly recommend!
Consulting Mr Taheri for a total knee replacement, his suggestion and request to lose weight and get fit placed me in the best condition to have surgery which was totally trouble free. Excellent recovery and can't say enough about the enhanced recovery plan with great pre and post operation support. Thoroughly recommend Mr Taheri if you are contemplating undertaking knee surgery.
